Hello family and friends! Your beloved UNITE members have all arrived safely in Washington D.C. and are currently eating junkfood and chatting it up in our Motel 6 rooms. After a 40 minute delay, our flight still went quite well, and we all enjoyed riding above the clouds and seeing the scenery below. We landed in Washington Dulles airport - which was huge and very nice - and used public transportation to get to our hotel. We got a bit turned around, but thanks to the kindness of the public transportation employees and other DC residents, we were pointed in the right direction.
Not much else to say tonight! We are currently relaxing and resting before touring and shadowing students at School Without Walls tomorrow. Keep checking back, we will keep you updated with all of our amazing experiences throughout the trip!
